Our family at Syriana Restaurant & Catering is committed to serving you food made with love, care, and the freshest ingredients. We want you to be happy with every meal you receive. If you experience an issue with your order, please see our policy below.

For Regular Restaurant Orders (Pickup & Delivery)

1. Reporting an Issue

If you have a problem with your order, such as receiving the wrong item, a missing item, or a quality concern, please contact us on the same day you receive your meal. You can reach us by calling the restaurant directly or by emailing us at order@syriana.ca.

2. Our Resolution Process

We handle issues on a case-by-case basis, but our goal is always to make it right. To help us resolve your issue, we will require proof of purchase (your receipt) and a photo of the issue (e.g., the wrong item).

Once we confirm the problem, our first priority is to correct our mistake. We will typically resolve the issue in one of the following ways, at our discretion:

  • Option 1: Remake the Item: Our preferred solution is to immediately remake the food item for you.
  • Option 2: Store Credit: If remaking the item isn't practical, we will offer you a credit for the value of the item to be used on a future order.
  • Option 3: Refund: In some cases, we may offer a partial or full refund to your original method of payment.

3. Policy on Taste Preference

We take great pride in our traditional Syrian family recipes and the authentic flavours we serve. While we hope you love every bite, we cannot offer refunds or credits for issues related to personal taste preference.

For Catering Orders

1. Non-Refundable Deposits

All catering orders require a deposit to secure your date and our services. This deposit is non-refundable as it allows us to begin sourcing ingredients and scheduling staff for your event.

2. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your catering order, please provide us with as much notice as possible.

  • Cancellations with 48 Hours (or more) Notice: If you cancel your order at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery time, we will refund any amount you have paid beyond the non-refundable deposit.
  • Cancellations with Less Than 48 Hours Notice: If you cancel your order within 48 hours of the scheduled event, the full amount of the order becomes non-refundable. This is because we will have already purchased ingredients and dedicated resources to preparing your food.
